Orchid Cactus are part of the Epiphyllum genus. These tropical cactus grow in the rainforests of Central and South America and will product large, orchid-like blooms!
WATER: Because these plants are native to tropical rain forests, they need more water than your average arid cactus. Water your Orchid Cactus when the top inch or two of potting mix has dried out. Be sure not to allow your potting mix to stay super wet as these plants are prone to root rot.
LIGHT: Be sure to give your Orchid Cactus a lot of bright, but not direct light. These plants thrive in lots of bright light but can burn if they receive too much direct sunlight.
